Hope and resilience. This work captures the enduring journey of migration patterns within the Punjabi community. For over a century, waves of immigrants have traveled by ocean and sky, arriving in Vancouver. The Punjabi experience in British Columbia is rich and full of stories that often go untold, are overlooked, or are incomplete. Through this piece, I aim to illuminate my community's story of grit,  perseverance, and the dreams carried throughout. The work is a moment of reflection on how my community has woven our unique textures into the fabric of society over the past century and how they still continue to do so.

Inspired by dreamers, this work embodies the essence of curiosity, the spirit of adventure, and uncertainty. Each journey begins for unique reasons, just as every cloud is distinct and unique, reflecting the individuality of our paths. It captures our aspirations, with each cloud becoming a symbol of hope and wonder.
